I want to see a new league rule where each team can only use x amount of parts and x amount of engines per season. That way, the cooling and reliability stats mean something.

Does this interest anyone else?

Hello Mr Haas,

This clashes directly against one of the game revenue sources. We’re committed to our freemium model so this option is off the table.

I think im noth the first buth would be cool if you could only use 10 eniges a season ore maby even les so the investment in heat would be more important

Hello,

A problem with restricting the amount of engines a team can use per season is that it would reduce the number of tokens that managers need to spend.
This would result in two issues:

• It would mean that a chunk of iGP's income source would be lost as people would have less of a need to buy tokens using real money, thus hindering the development progress iGP can make in future.
• It would result in managers having huge hoards of tokens attained from their sponsors. These tokens would not be spent on engines and therefore managers would not be as likely to use money to buy tokens.

Of course, iGP Manager is neither a Pay to Play or a Pay to Win game so spending real money is not mandatory, but some people choose to buy tokens and use them to buy additional engines.

All of this considered, the idea of making cooling and reliability more useful would be interesting in developing the design strategy throughout a season.
