It would be realistic if there are crashes in the game, I don't know if it's possible to have this in the game, but if it can there can also be penalties for if you crash.

I think if your drivers aren't highly trained or trained in the right areas then there should be a possibility of a driver losing control, going into the gravel or damaging certain parts etc. Maybe this could be influenced by how hard the 'push' level is set at. However one driver mess up should not affect another driver, otherwise people are literally going to be at each others throats.

I am sure I read somewhere that crashs are implemented in the game, but the odds of it happening are extremely low as Jack felt it would impact the game negatively.

Doesn't excactly sound as fun when your fighting for a championship and the game decides to let your driver crash.

Drivers mistakes on higher push levels, I can get that, but not something that eliminates your drivers from a race. And considering that drivers are already not performing consistent during all laps of a race, I woulnd't be surprised if there's already something like a mistake ratio involved.

This is really tough to balance. I played at another F1 manager, where chances of craches and spins were determinded by the risk u take. In the end, everyone had the particular risks to (nearly) zero, since there was so much more to lose than to win.
