My previous suggestion about a parts and engines cap was denied, so how about a big buff to cooling and reliability?

Jose's big problem with the cap was that it would encourage managers to spend less money on the game, but a cooling and reliability buff would be good because it would actually make the stats worth something, and makes the mechanics of the game more interesting. Plus, there would still be an advantage for replacing engines and parts every race, just not as pronounced.

I think at the max value of 200, engines and chassis should have:

- No damage at all after Monaco and Hungary
- 1% damage after Australia, Austria, and Bahrain
- 2% damage after Germany, Mexico, USA, and Spain (Valencia)
- 3% damage after Abu Dhabi, Brazil, Britain, Canada, Japan, and Spain (Catalunya)
- 5% damage after Azerbaijan, Belgium, Italy, and Malaysia

No damage would lead to 0 parts beeing bought, means less revenue so it leads to the same problem

Or am I missing something?

I partially agree. I would like to see more characteristics that affect your pace. But if the developers change the game the way you suggested, nothing will change, it will only get worse for those who cannot financially afford to change engines or fix a car.
To increase the cooling effect, it is possible to make the wear affect every lap of the race. However, a balance is needed here, because if you do this and only this, the cooling will become too strong, because even if the engine has only 1% less than the rest of the players before the start of the race, you will lose a lot of time.
The effect of reliability can also be increased in the same way: just add the effect of car wear on the pace of the car every lap (now there is no effect of car wear).
But I think at the moment we need to finish updating with tire wear.
P.s. Sorry for my poor English, I wrote with a translator.

Well, you're half right, but now it becomes a strategic part of the game too. These are just rudimentary figures i put out here (except for 0% wear @ Monaco and Hungary), so obviously, if this suggestion is implemented as-is, bad things will happen.

I guess wear on the chassis/engines engines should be increased a bit as well, IE 5% wear behaves more like 8% wear.
