When you drop a driver, you have the chance to rebuy them instantly without needing for him/her to appear in auction. How does that affect their salary?

Say you were developing one from a lower level and got them to lvl 18 while giving them a wage of just 700K. Will they still want that or expect +- 1m (roughly the salary new signed drivers of that level demand)?

Releasing and rebuying a driver is like shooting on your feet. You will pay your driver a lot more. Never do it. Renew his/her contract one race before it expires.

I suspected as much. Was thinking of dropping my 2nd driver temporarily to save costs, but won't be doing that after all. Thanks.
