I not sure what people will think about this, but I actually enjoyed the sprint races in F1 and I think the option to add sprint race qualification to certain races would add something different to the mix. Maybe integration with the upcoming driving specialists (sprint race specialist)?

I like the idea, but I'm not sure how it would work. Does everyone start with the same tyre? How long does the sprint last? Are boost and DRS enabled? How do we prevent unfair events like the terrible starts some managers get for no reason?

And contrary to F1 overtaking is not on the hands of the driver/manager. In this game is mostly luck based (A simple evidence is the fact that the softer compounds are not able to overtake the slower ones).

I should explain my point a bit further. I don’t see why it can’t be like F1 in terms of rules. I would assume if sprint races were added that their length would be a certain fraction of the length of the actual race ( what the minimum and maximum laps it would be I couldn’t tell)

As for the overtaking that seems to be a different issue.

Looking at the sprint races it had 21-24 laps

Not sure this idea had been thought through properly.

Sprint races are usually 100km or one third  distance.  Imagine having a sprint race at 25% for somewhere like Russia or Italy?  You would have an outlap, a lap and then an inlap.  Even for 50% they would be about 7 laps.
