Now the maximum you can set up is only 4 pit stops, but with the current wear and tear, 5-6 are needed.

This has already been suggested before - not a bad idea though

You can have as many pitstops as you want, it only works out the 4, but a little basic math and you can set as many as u want

У вас может быть столько пит-стопов, сколько вы хотите, это работает только с 4, но немного базовой математики, и вы можете установить столько, сколько хотите.

There are offline leagues, if I want to make supersoft after soft for the seventh segment, then I won't succeed.

The game is not designed to be played offline. What's the point? Lol

Online racing managers aren't meant to be played offline - just look at the title that I just defined (even though I'm currently in an offline league)

Agree with you Dario

Yeah I do get it and it is a good idea, but you should always be able to have an advantage if you attend your races.

You obviously haven't heard of the top's offline leagues - The Last Dance, Formula Zero Offline, Offline Superstars, etc.

That's like me buying a 65inch TV and watching it whilst it's off. Pointless ?

Many players here have more than one or more accounts. Offline leagues are useful for building accounts and they are all very competitive.
Please, if you do not understand the topic of the question, then do not try to get into it.

Ah okay, so it's like me buying one or more TVs then. Gotcha.

But on a serious note, I disagree with the idea as you should have a strategic advantage when attending races. I am sure the Devs have already said this to be the case.

I disagree with you Dario. The strategic advantage of attending races is in the boost and push level management and the ability to adapt your strategy to other cars position on the track.

We all have a real life and even if we usually attend live races, it can happen that you cannot follow a race. The game should be able to let you set any strategy like you would do during a live race.

Then the AI will boost in a wrong moment or you will miss a DRS train but the game should not force you to lose because of an UI that doesn't reflect how the game is played by 99% of players in 100% races.

You have a point about the drs and push levels, if I could not attend I would simply find a league more suitable where I have that half hour spare to enjoy the game.

Will you change league if you cannot attend just one race due to a committment that you cannot delay?

I don't think you will answer yes... You will like what has been proposed in opening post when it will happen.

No not for a one off, I would use a 4 stop strategy ?

So, to see if I have this correct...
It has now, been suggested, twice, that we increase the number of stints that we can do basic setup for, before the race starts.  I have no problem with that.  At the same time, Dario JP is arguing that all people, always should be able to be online for every last race that they have a team present for, or they should change the time of races to allow for this, unless you have a one day emergency.  I disagree with this sentiment for 3 reasons.  Those being
1)  You can never tell how long an emergency can last for
2)  What about managers and hosts that work on multi shift patterns, like I do.  I am unable to attend 2/7th of all of my races due to work commitments and I will not faff about changing times in 2 out of every 7 weeks in my league.  It would decimate the thing.
3)  one word...  HOLIDAYS

I think that makes the point clear now...

To reiterate.  I agree that the number of stints in setup should be increased.
I think you are being FAR too stringent in your views, Dario.

I think you hit the nail on the head with your answer.

I also agree that the max number of stints should be changed because this would really benefit the minority of offline leagues. As well as this I agree with your point on emergencies and holidays which are also preventations for making every single race

I know I said I agreed with him but those offline leagues, whilst they are a minority, they are still leagues even if they follow a different structure than most other leagues in this game
