with the update in tire performance when worn out the hard tires are very bad as they seem to lose the most performance when below 65%.
an upgrade would be better so that the harder the tires the less performance loss.

Or you just need to use a better strategy

no matter what strategy you use hard tires are always bad and you almost never use them. It is better to extend the soft or medium tires to the point of stopping below 50% of using the hard tires because the loss of performance is very large.

whenever there is someone with hard tires and I stop 1 lap before putting on soft or medium tires I gain 3 seconds in 1 lap and if the person is not faster than me it is difficult to recover.
decreasing the performance loss of the tires especially the hard ones would allow the managers to put the hard tires at least at the end so they don't have to make an extra stop because the way it is the races are very boring and most go with the same strategy and I can't risk something different with 1 of my drivers because the h tires lose a lot of performance.

even with the wear and tear, my strategies are working, but the hard tires are practically useless.
in most races the hard tires turn more than 0.5 seconds slower even keeping the temperature around the red bar and this is causing in almost all races people use only s and m. Italy and China are the only races where the hard tires have a good performance if you put them in the end.

Run hard compound above 30°c with a lighter fuel load. It's logical for hards for a long time, but H are better and competitive not going so long.
