What did you try to do?
reinstalled the app, cleared cache, cleared space on phone storage and updated my phone
What happened instead?
Whenever I am racing the app just freezes, and no I don’t mean lag where the sign “connection issues” pops up. The app freezes and I can’t change anything other thn leaving the app

I agree, however because of this situation the game is unplayable for me. No matter what I do on my end the same issue always pops up.

yes, I’ve temporarily switched to 3D and using the 2D map on there. Seems to have fixed the issue for me when I do that. Just don’t expect the them to help you out as you can clearly see how long ago my post is from and still no response.

Usually there is help, but your problem appeared at the worst time as the blog stated an expected deadline for next feature patch is in about two weeks at latest and since the dawn of computer games the usual situation is: We've got 80 work hours per dev left, we've got 160 hours of scheduled work, as it's the delayed more complicated than anticipated and time killer things left we'll need 320 hours, plus final testing and bug fixing, thus we just have to manage 40 hours a day including weekends and we'll totally smash that deadline.
So it's all hands on deck and little time for anything else.

Understandable, but my issue isn’t with the bug being fixed. It’s the fact that I receive a response from someone like they will look into it and they don’t. Has I been told what you are telling me rn their would be nothing to discuss.
Setting false expectations and acting like you are willing to help is completely wrong.

I appreciate your patience, not everything is as simple as it seems.
It is quite a strange problem as my personal device is also an iPhone 12 Pro and I am not able to replicate the same error. I have tried at various times throughout the day (to rule out it being a server overload issue).
From what I understand it's a problem found on your device, can you check the following sections please?
- Available storage memory.
- Sufficient RAM during the race (close all other apps in the background).
- Stable connection (which is not the same as powerful).
- Latest iOS version installed (iOS 16.1.1) is the one I'm on.

-done, I’ve cleared storage by either; deleting pics, deleting downloaded videos and deleting apps
-done, this was brought up by another racer and since thn I closed all apps but issue was still there
-done, my connection is stable as issue is only with 2D and not 3D (though since i made this post I haven’t raced in 2D)
-done, my phone is on auto update so the app is the latest version and has been for a while
Everything you have just mentioned I have already looked at and found it to not be the problem. I’ve currently been racing in 3D but since it seems that you aren’t able to replicate the same issue, I have a race tonight in a league full of my own accounts and I’ll switch to 2D and see if the issue is still there or if it isn’t.
