Yeah in the same race this is serious, I don't know is real life Monaco freezing to death because it is something below 15C...

Yeah lads, basically don't use any tyre other than SS at Monaco and always stay at PL3 (push level) or above. If you don't, the tyres will not ever get heat in themselves.

There is nothing wrong with lukewarm M or slightly past optimal S on push level 5

I was meaning more to the end of outright pace and strategy that using all ss is often quicker, though I could see S be a little better in the summer

Monaco in the summer only requires a lower push level on SS, like P2.
No matter what, at Monaco, the only compound that should be used is SS.

Cosurworthit engine
Soft tyres
45% design

I will have 100% car for the last race of the season when it's for the scrap heap time :|

It's monaco, I would go for a 7 stint on SS only (12-11-11-11-11-11-11), using PL3

If you compare lap times me on soft with slower engine is matching that of a murk on ss does that not tell you soft is better choice?

Not really... Jack Button made up all his positions on the first 2 SS stints and was only able to hold position on Softs.

SS drop off after 8 laps
S can do 11 laps without dropping off that's why laps times are similar.
