On practice before the race, you can currently only use fresh tyres every lap. And while on the race the tyre wear gets lower every lap because of tyre pieces staying on the track(I think). I would suggest the option to be able to run many laps on the tyre you want to try to see how much the wear changes(also an addition to that, can be 5 laps for setup and 5 for tyre wear). Or simply, to just have the game to tell us the wear difference every lap for each tyre

Forgive me if i sound stupid, but in practice it tells you the wear % a bit of basic math and you got the answers you want.

Wear stays the same but the number of what the wear is calculated is another …

First lap: 100% Tyrelife, wear 5%, so 100-(100*0,05)=95% so a Life lose of 5%

Second lap: 95% tyrelife, wear still 5%, so 95-(95*0,05)=90,25%, so a Life lose of 4,75%

Now third lap you can do it on your own….

All in all the wear stays the same but the life lose is different.

It's also different because of race speed and duration

It is just a free example of how it works ?

You can run SS for 200 laps and they would never reach 0%
