Currently iGP championship sorting rules is done by whoever got the best result first. This could theoretically lead to a scenario, say, in which someone who wins 10 races could come second to someone who wins 2 races if tied on points (or something similar).

I've always thought this was an unjust way of sorting the table.

This is in no way a suggestion to be more like F1, but it just turns out the results countback is a far fairer way of sorting the table.

I propose changing the table sorting rules to results countback. And it's extremely easy to code (I've already coded it for my stats sheets for my league on excel).

Thoughts? Opinions?

I agree with this idea - then the better drivers will get rewarded if the scenario you listed ever happens - and it might (or might not) be that hard to code into the game

It was asked more than a year ago. I don't remember what exactly answered José. It was justified saying that iGP does not follow FIA rules. And I think it is also related to the fact that it removes a burden of checks and to save cpu time (which is not free).

Personally I'm fine with current system.

As is it's the simplest possible system: more points, you overtake your opponent in standings. No need to check race results.
