I'm planning on buying two new drivers, their height & weight is based on real life drivers Hamilton (175cm & 66kg) & Verstappen (180cm & 67kg).

What starting weight should I look for to get the 175cm drivers weight down to 66kg and the 180cm driver down to 67kg?

Depends on what level their reflexes and stamina is at the moment you hire them and if you want to train that towards 20 or not. If those stats are low and you want to bring it up, you'll have to take into account their weight will decrease by 1kg every time you train physical.

No clue if you manage to keep it like that in the long run though as I think their weight seems pretty stable whereas stamina and reflexes tend to drop when not trained.

To give a example. Some time ago I didnt extend a contract of a formerly great driver of mine (Vigfusson) after which he was hired elsewhere. Unfortunately, after just 5 races the manager abandoned his team and since then the driver was never trained again and the team never raced because of worn parts etc. After he was finally released from his contract, I hired him to a junior team to restore a bit of glory and as it tunred out his physical, speed, attack and defence stats were all down by about 4 points but his weight was still at 51kg.

To make the story even longer. I think it will be hard to keep the weight at a certain level and at the same time aim at high physical stats. If you don't care about the stats but want to make the most of it, hire them heavy and with high physical stats.

ok thanks Tjerk
So basically it doesn't matter if the driver weighs in at 100kg he can still be lowered to 51kg :|
I thought there might of been a stopping point based on the height and drivers starting weight.
lucky for me the drivers I got have high stamina already so once I get them to the weight I want & can just stay away from physical training :)
it may make it more realistic as drivers age they will get more and more unfit lol

It is terrifying to think a driver who is 180cm tall can be trained to weigh 51kg.

Realistically, a driver that low in weight, that tall, would be in critical condition.

Could be worse 192cm driver at 51kg. Matchsticks spring to mind.

Edit - I'm a matchstick lol worked it out I'm 179cm & 64kg :)

It did surprise me that drivers seem to maintain their weight at a low level even after they haven't been trained a while, in my drivers case a least for 12 races. Would have expected the weight to climb up just like the stats went down or something similar.

You can't fatten a thoroughbred, no matter how many burgers, chocolate bars, pasta and pizzas you feed them.
Female drivers now you would just have to get them pregnant would add a few pounds :P

Hmm, would that come along with a season of maternity leave in which you do have to pay your female driver but have to hire another to actually drive?

Seems like a good addition to the game. :D

Lol bye, bye young drivers academy & hello driver breeding.
What's the odds of getting a half decent driver by the age of 17?

Obviously I needed a starting weight slightly higher than 72kg but not to worry will know for the next time. :)

There will be no hammer time in my car :D again starting weight of 72kg was too low.

Who needs reflexes and stamina anyways? :P
Stay clear of other cars, no need for good reflexes to avoid crashes.
Don't push all race, no need for good stamina.
