Hello everyone, I have a doubt about the weather, a probably stupid question... Let's pretend that on my phone the race starts at 12:00, but if you run for example in Japan, it isn't 12 even there as there is a different time zone.
Checking the weather a few minutes before start, do I have to check the weather at that precise moment or at 12 local time?
I hope I was clear.
Thanks everyone for the help!

IGP uses live weather, so when looking at a forecast many hours in advance of the race you must check the weather for the time the race is going to be run in that time zone.

For example, I live in the UK, if my race in Spain starts at 21:00 UK time I must check the weather forecast for 22:00 in Spain as they are one hour ahead.

But if you're checking the weather a few minutes before the start of the race just look at live weather in whatever app you are using.

Hi, I always try to do the setup and strategy at the last minute and therefore I will continue to watch the meteo live. Thank you so much for your help

Isn’t the weather feed in the game on a delay of 30 or 15 mins?

Yes, I think the delay from the Dark Sky feed was about 15 minutes.

AFAIK the game continues to get a live feed from Dark Sky but since 1st January there is no longer any direct access to the Dark Sky weather station nodes because the App and web sit are closed. So I'm not sure where to look. For the forecast you can use Gustavo's helpful thread ( Weather links (weather.com) ) but I don't think these are the actual weather feeds that are driving the weather in the game.

What happens in about 10 weeks when Dark Sky feeds are switched off is anyone's guess.
