Hi all,

I wached last race and intervened, my driver was supposed to do a 3 stop on softs but after the first stint i swiched to a 2 stop (soft-medium-medium). I finished 4th and 5th with my drivers but in the race review it shows the 3stop on softs and my drivers as 6th and 7th. Is this just a bug I encountered or have others the same problem?

The game may have been lagging, just I'm not sure. If you could share the link to the race maybe?

Reviewing your race results data, you only changed the strategy of Cavallero from the 3 stop Softs to 2 stop Mediums, but did not change the strategy of Lahti. Was this intentional?

I think what may have happened is the game was lagging on your end. Since you do not have the 2D viewer, this will be hard to verify (with the 2D viewer one can visibly notice if lag is occurring or not).

This isn't an issue with the game — I have experienced it twice before while live managing, months and months apart though.

The best solution for now would be to uninstall Java and re-install it, regardless of whether or not you have the latest version.

Dear Blunion,

What you see is my preplanned strategy. Lahti did a 2 stop (soft 43L-medium 45L -medium 45L) and Cavallero did a 2 stop (medium 45L-medium 45L -medium 35L). I changed it from the preset as the medium was the better race tyre. I did used the 2D viewer in firefox and did not notice any lag (nor on chrome playing youtube songs). So does this means I won't get my points? cause that would be though.

same happened to my race tonight i finished 1/2 no lag was visible in the game and i watched all live my stints was wets/s/s then changed w/w/w. results say i finished 13/14 2 laps down on was on w/i/i

same here 2 days ago.

Results look like generated, using the pre-saved race settings.

Lap by lap EXACTLY SAME fuel consuption and tyre wear lap by lap between stints with same strategy (tyre and fuel)

i was watching the race,
i changed from S (pre-saved strategy) to SS (i was in 2d during the race)
i changed the amount of fuel in some stints (during the race)

non of those changes are on the results.

i was on front many laps of the race and thats not on the results eigther

This most likely happened because the race in question was resumed more than once across the service, at the time we were restoring the service (see this thread: http://igpmanager.com/play/?url=forum-thread/5225). That means different instances of it were running simultaneously.

We are very sorry for the obvious inconvenience this has caused a few individuals, who were served an incorrect instance of a race automatically by the server. It caused exactly what has been described, a few people saw one version of a race yet another was running which other people were seeing.

We have tracked down why this may have happened and applied a fix.

i'd love to have my points 2 :)
i think in our league those points could mean the championship :/

but, the most important was obviously help Jack solve this issue so, i think i'm ok if it's complicated to change those results.

the ppl attending saw just the wrong race so, there will be no ppl complaining if you change those for the one we saw

I did now, thanks for bringing that to my attention.

Jason, sorry. The results from the race you spectated were lost and there was no way to recover them. I know, no reward points are a consolation. :(
