This wee game shows that failures, Crashes, Driver Errors & Contact between cars can still be fun.

Though if igp where to add such things it may turn a 2hour race into a 4-5 hour race, with maybe 13-14 pit stops depending on how aggressive you tell the driver to push.

Here is how I got on. I was just no match for the mighty Mercadis as they are called in his game:

My driver & the standings going into the last race.

My car design levels.

Final standing & my end score.

Try it for yourself and see how you do! http://www.kongregate.com/games/Matheusbr0/grandprix-management

I'm currently still in Category B, coming last every race. The leader is finishing races before I've even reached half distance. And because of this, I have to now start the entire game again because I didn't get a top 7.

Ahh. Tell driver to drive defensive every race. yes it is slow but a good driver & work on the engine you should be doing around 240km/h driving in slow mode :)

If you keep looking at driver page after every race James if you get the chance sign Senna his speed rating was the highest of all the drivers I saw. Ayrton not Bruno Senna

If I started race on the wrong tyre I didn't pit to put on the right tyre & won, was a case of what rain I'm driving slow I'm fine lol
Slight bug maybe in it, but if you are maintaining the gap to the car behind or far enough ahead to make the finish. There is no point in stopping to change the tyres just keep going.

I just find it stupid that, rather doing another season in that category, if you are out of the 'promotion zone' you could say, then you have to start from scratch.

I just realised why I was so far off the pace and my driver seemingly kept on driving straight on at corners! I had trained Nelson Piquet maximum in acceleration and Speed but NOTHING in braking or turning.

You need the money to be able to race the murks in category A. B they where easy but A is just another ball game altogether. After end results it's either redo last race or start over again.

In my third try I won category A with 100 points. I achieved a score of 367. I didn't take screenshots, but in the final race I went all out on the second half of the last lap and registered a top speed of 400 km/h

If crashes are ever added to iGP, safety cars need to be added too. Otherwise, F1 2015!

Well done Jason Last night I won it with a car top speed of 175km/h I thought to myself I not posting that far too slow & Mercadis finished 10th so I must of stole their driver lol

Having crashes hitting barriers & contact with other cars that cause damage to you're car would be good in igp. Too much damage forces you to pit as car gets too slow.
But I don't see that there would be a need for a safety car double yellow flags should be enough same as F1 2015 that is why it doesn't have a safety car no overtaking and need to be slow in the yellow zone.
Would interesting if Jack could add it to see what it would be like in a 71 lap race if it increases the time the race runs too much it would put people off!

SC would be needed to reduce the predictability and add more strategy to it. Say in F1 2015 if you were to be involved in a first corner pile up that sent you over a minute down on the rest of the field, then you wouldn't be encouraged to fight on and see if you can do well. If crashes and SC's/red flags were in it, you would just see if people crashed out and the like and go on to score!

lol I'm always in a pile up in the first corner everyone just loves piling into the back of me, I stop accelerating at 200 board & brake at the 50 board. Slow in fast out where as everyone else seems to be the other way around fast in slow out lol
I see where you are coming from you want to be able to win so you want a safety car to bunch the field up to give you a chance after you're unwanted pit stop :)
