My engine supply has been opened, but even though I use the points for the tracks, my 101 points still remain as 101 points.

Same happened to me - clicked on save but it didn't and when you exit it discards the upgrade whether you save it or not.
Update: Wouldn't let me do it on PC, but seems to have worked on the app.

It looks like you've some old code cached. Please try to hard refresh your browser using the following instructions:
Chrome and Windows:
- Hold down Ctrl and click the Reload button.
- Or Hold down Ctrl and press F5.

- Or Hold down Command, Shift and click the ‘R’ key.

Clearing cache half worked. I have +6 on the next track to race on through engine running. +2 through fuel supplier. I only get the +6 and not the fuel supplier
