iGP Manager Data Consumption on Mobile Hotspot — Impressive!

Today was my first time live managing a race outside of my home. In an effort to keep my championship lead strong in my league, I bought my laptop with me to live manage and would use my iPhone as a hotspot. I honestly did not know what to expect in terms of data consumption. I don't use much data, and get by using the minimum data provided at 2 GB (4G LTE) with my phone plan.

I had 1950 MB remaining, which left me with 43 MB to use per minute for a 45 minute race. I knew the consumption wouldn't be that high, but regardless I was interested to see in how much might get consumed. I kept track of this and only used 4 MB! Wasn't expecting it to be this low. I was estimating somewhere between 100 to 200 MB.

Phone provider is T-Mobile (subsidiary under Deutsche Telekom).

I'm still very pleased about how this turned out.

I will add in though that I only used the mobile hotspot connection only to access the 2D viewer in order to isolate any non-viewer related data consumption. There was zero lag or hiccuping in the connection of the game as well.
