What did you try to do?
Activated the 2X XP buff

What happened instead?
Nothing. Received the same amount of xp as without the buff.

Did the problem happen while using wi-fi, mobile data, or both?
Both

Did the bug happen in the app, on PC, or both?
App

What is the model of your device?
iPad Mini 5

What is the operating system?
iOS

What is the version number of the operating system?
iOS 16.2

What operating system is your PC?
Not relevant

Which browser did you experience the problem in?
Not relevant

Can the bug be reproduced?
Will see in the next race.

Additional comments:

Worked on some other accounts but didn't on this. I'll update the post after the race for today.

This should be fixed now. As far as I know it didn't consume any of your boosters.

Once you bought the buff does it activate automatically?  If yes it doesn’t seem to have worked on this account as still showing 20 races remaining when it should be 19.

Your last race was before the fix, the fix was applied when my comment was posted. It should be fine for you for the race that takes place in a few hours.
