Is there any update on when the game will switch over.
At the moment I can only use firefox and Java at home on my partners laptop. So when on a dull night shift like tonight I cannot access race browers (system is admin controlled so cannot d/l anything)
So when will the system move over so can enjoy the game properly?

The date hasn't been set in stone yet.
Based on blog posts beta testing is looking like it may begin in February. I'm hoping the switch happens by the end of February, but I bet things are not going to be that simple.

The beta testing is a closed event. To participate you had to e-mail iGP answering a few questions back in December. Invitations were sent out earlier this week and I think the deadline to RSVP is approaching right now or sometime in the next few days.

There will eventually be an open beta though.

March is more likely for the launch to igpmanager.com, but closed testing is going to start very soon. :)
Public testing should begin by the end of February (anyone will be able to try it, before it goes live).

Nice wee sarcastic comment Jack? (anyone will be able to try it, before it goes live) Means it is already live if everyone can use it :D

No sarcasm, there will be a closed beta (invite only) to iron out big bugs and then an open beta (anyone can join) just to get more people in and iron out the smaller bugs. :P Then the public launch.

I hope you let all the closed beta testers know that the purpose of the testing will be to smack a hammer at each and every corner of the game to see if it breaks! hahaha

I'm guessing most of the hammer work has already been done in Alpha Beta. :)
Alpha Beta - All had equal drivers, staff, cars & performance levels. To ensure everything runs to plan.
Closed Beta - All will have equal drivers & staff with a mix of default level cars and performances. To find any discrepancies in car balancing & report any lag issues.
Open Beta - will be a complete mix. To tie up any loose ends in the game play balancing, seek out and report any rendering and performance issues with heavy traffic online. Apply patches & general fixes before turning on HTML5 & Apps. :)
Will there be an iGP Manager App in the Windows App Store at the end of March too?
Jack Basford medal 6098 CEO & CTO 8 years 298 days ago
The app will not be released in March, only on igpmanager.com. The app may be a while after as we want to revise the back-end server structure to be able to cope with potential scale of increases in users that will come with being on the appstore.
There will be no windows phone app unfortunately. This is out of our control, and to do with some libraries we are using not supporting windows phone. We wanted to add support, but can't. That will only change if the library in question changes.

Hopefully that will change over-time they have been talk about it for sometime now trying to get Android and iOS phone apps into its Windows 10 Store.

I am sure I read somewhere recently the MS were abandoning places to do this.

Didn't know that :(
