I want to pick your igp experienced brains ?

This is about the attributes of every track and the ideal engine design.

Every track has its attributes like

Overtaking opportunities (Überholmöglichkeiten)
Road bumps (Straßenunebenheiten)
Fuel consumption (Treibstoffverbrauch)
Tire wear (Reifenverschleiß)

I put the german translation in brackets as i´m not sure if the english translations are correct. But this attributes are listed everywhere from top to bottom under the track layout.

So what does every attribute mean for your car settings? The only thing i know is, that a bumpy road requires handling. So that is that :)

Which engine setting is preferable for every attribute? Which setting would you ideally use with:

High Overtaking opportunities
High Road bumps
High Fuel consumption
High Tire wear

Thanks for your input ?

Unfortunately you won’t get a detailed response because car development is a holy grail in iGP. It’s basically 50% of your reason for winning/losing.

You can message privately, i’m happy to help with a few tips whenever i’m available.

The only circuit characteristic that affects fuel consumption is track length.

The circuit plays no part in specific fuel consumption (M.P.G. or litres/km), it is a function of FE design and Push Level.

This was most evident in the Pre 3D game when you had to run full PL5 in Monaco on SS to keep the tyres warm. As a result Monaco had the highest specific fuel consumption of all the circuits.

thanks Kevin. And which setup/setting (Acc,brakes,handling,downforce..) would be the best to put your DP or engine devellopment in for each attribute like Overtaking opportunities, Road bumps and Tire wear or fuel consumption?

For example you want to devellop your engine for spain with attribtes rougly at:

Overtaking opportunities (Überholmöglichkeiten) : 40/100
Road bumps (Straßenunebenheiten) : 25/100
Fuel consumption (Treibstoffverbrauch) : 70/100
Tire wear (Reifenverschleiß) : 80/100
