I think you should be able to do setup for X amount of days in advance. Let's say I'm going to be inactive for the next 4 days. Wouldn't it be best if I could do setup for those races I'm going to miss? This way, I can setup, meaning the inactivity won't be as detrimental to my race. What do you think?

I don't think its worthwhile, and would only be a benefit to players who have gathered lots of additional information gathered such as expected tyre wear for the circuit and required setups. How do you expect to be competitive without that information?

Plus setup doesn't take an enormous amount of time, 10 minutes should be plenty even if you are in a rush.

We all know what setups we should use for each driver. We have dozens of tables on the forum. There is no advantage Michael.

I vote yes.

While ideal setups are not dynamic and you cannot have a driver's feedback for the following events, this suggestion is valid.

Hmmmm. I don't think new players should be disregarded or disadvantaged in this way.

I haven't seen many tables which tell you what your tyre wear %'s will be for a circuit in advance.

Secondary thought, isn't this against the interests of iGP? We all have know our setups which reduce the need for us to pay 3 tokens for perfect setup already. For the majority of the old players the only reason to spend here are time constraints or variable weather.

That is part of my suggestion. You can run laps and get your wear and set a strategy for those circuits.

Better to do setups 24 hours in advance maximum, in my opinion.
My concern is that of the changable nature of the weather making any setup data moot after that amount of time.  This would kill the races of people whom have not spent on ideal setups when it gets wet, for example.  It would also make tyre wear data moot, if the ambient temperature were to go up or down by more than 5°C...

If you cannot play the game daily, don't join a daily league.

Play within your means, and do setups 5-10mins before qualifying

The point is that we put the same usual damn values for our setups. If you don't attend races you already have the disadvantage of changing weather.

What do you say if you can buy ideal setups some day before the race? It's a win win for both players and iGP games.

The point about leaving daily leagues does not make sense. You never know what your life brings. You could not play for 2 or 3 days knowing it in advance. So should you change league for a commitment? Really?

I don’t have any issues with this suggestion and yes values only change if you use a different driver, but anyone choosing to do this is at a real disadvantage owing to changing weather conditions. Unfortunately there is no substitute for doing set up 20-30 mins before cut off unless you can be 100% certain of the weather.  It doesn’t matter how many spreadsheets you have of data ias most of it is useless unless you know the actual weather conditions for the race.
