Add a 4 lvl of difficult would be nice.
Racing with lvl 13 on elite with 22/23 lvls atm is very hard. Or we need to gain faster lvlvs from 1 to 20
Setting minimum lvl to each league is bad idea, because some league are death under elite

I think the whole league structure for rookie and pro needs a rethink. Adding another tier is no solution, would just add another level of inactive accounts to fight through before you make it to much higher level managers

Completely agree and once someone has gone through the inactive leagues they are usually too low a level to compete in Elite and this is only going to get worse.  Unfortunately the powers that be seem reluctant to reviewing the structure at this time.

IMSA/WEC style. Everyone race together but have separate championships. I suppose the game couldn't handle 60 cars on track though. I don't like just adding another tier. Can't hardly fill the 3 we have now.

Level Groupings in Elite Tier

Another level would give newer players more time to develop. A simple fix. My league doesn't have inactivity issues. I kick the oldest inactive so there are spots for players to join. Come see...

Pants on fire my friend, you have inactives in pro. Also, look at it from 1 car league perspective: there’s 16 managers required to activate promotion, double the amount 2 car leagues need

I'll repeat, my league does not have an inactive problem. the 8 to 9 active drivers have learned how to use the back markers to their advantage. there are always open slots if someone wants to join any tier...
this upcoming race will have roughly 15 active players between the three tiers. can your league say that?
an extra tier would give newer players more time to grow

Good to hear your league is healthy, but for the vast of majority of leagues there are issues.  Adding an extra tier would probably be the final nail in the coffin for this game. Also 15 active players across 3 tiers isn’t that healthy if you are trying to run a 3 Division league so how could you expand to 4 divisions and not dilute each divisions activity?

Congrats on that but I’m not comparing leagues. We as hosts do what it takes to keep the league active, that’s all the host can do.

I personally don’t think adding a tier is a good solution though for the reasons I stated earlier

i don't remember a reason,  just a complaint.
the problem is players getting promoted with levels to low to compete. this has nothing to do with inactive players.

You're wrong, inactive players is the main reason why players get promoted too quickly and end up in Elite at very low levels.

For the majority of leagues, Rookie is filled with mainly inactive accounts so anyone who bothers to set up and set a strategy is likely to promote in their first or second season.

Pro is usually filled with inactive bots (to trigger promotion) so again, anyone who is active will most likely promote and find themselves totally out of their depth in Elite only three or four seasons after starting to play.

Adding an extra tier would simply add one or possibly two seasons to a newbies progress to Elite and they would still be too low a level to be competitive.

The answer is not more tiers, it is more players, fewer leagues or a total overhaul of the current tier system. Probably a bit of all three.

i have 2 teams and i host. i also let newer players know if they need help to just ask.
i have also done a little recruiting and would have no problem filling a 4th tier.

as Kevin stated, it has everything to do with inactive accounts. Congrats on beeing able to fill a 4th tier, really, that’s good for you but for majority of players, a 4th tier would not be a solution.

You need to look at this from the whole game perspective, it’s more then just your league. That’s because devs would only implement suggestions that are an improvement to at least a major proportion of players.

The level strength has been reduced so a level 20 or 21 is only equivalent to say a 16 previously, once you reach the new level 30 that's the equivalent to the old 20. Lower levels are actually closer to the competition than before as the performance gap between levels has been divided by 30 not 20. Nobody will be level 30 for months, even once there are players at level 30 it will be no different to those before playing level 20s.

The problem is not the tier, the problem is that there are many unnecessary leagues.
