Qualifying...

I'm starting to enjoy the farce that surrounds F1 more than the actual racing!  Qualifying changed for Australia, teams all seemed to get it horribly wrong so had an "emergency" meeting and agreed to change back to the old system...  But it would appear it wasn't their decision to make, so we're back to the ellimination qualifying, and hopefully the teams will work out that 90 seconds isn't long enough to get out of the pits, do a warm up lap and fast lap! 

If this wasn't enough drama, the drivers get together and have a hissy fit because they don't like how things are run!  Part of me is hoping for a drivers strike, where they all put on their donkey jackets and stand around oil drums with broken pallets burning whilst waving plackards and calling the GP2 drivers "scabs"....    

i think the worst part of the qualifying was at the end. No cars on the track in the last 5 minutes is no acceptable.
And yes, i think the teams were not ready and the tv was not ready to show what they need to show.

hope they fix it some how but, we had a good race at least :)

when i saw this on wtf1 i went WHY! AND GOOD RIDDENCE THE DRIVERS THEMSELVES ARNT HAPPY

It is a strange situation to be in, but I hope that the powers in F1 don't back down to the drivers, they need to accept that they're just a part of the show, no more than an actor in soap opera, and they are replaceable...
