What did you try to do?
Set 1mm depth for inters. Qualified on inters as seen in qualifying results. Should have had first stint on inters

What happened instead?
According to race results, first stint used hard for 3 laps before changing to mediums

Wi-fi

Did the bug happen in the app, on PC, or both?

What is the model of your device?
Samsung s20

What is the operating system?

What is the version number of the operating system?

Can the bug be reproduced?
No idea. Happened in race where i missed the start

That is why this is abug. If i somehow am not qualifying with the AS then my hard tyre choice for stint 1 should hold and not pit to the medium which is the choice when it stops raining

If the AS was used and i ran inter in qualifying, then stint 1 should be inter and i would auto pit to medium when it stops

Sorry Tim but AS doesn’t work the way you describe.  If you set it to 1mm and it is raining before qualifying with only say 0.5mm on track (or indeed not raining but 0.5mm water on track) you will start on dry tyres.  If you have set AS to 0mm as soon as the track registered any water it would have switched you to Inters.

It really depends on both the weather conditions (British GP is notorious in this game for quickly changing weather conditions) and how many laps you set to change tyres after it stopped raining.  It likely rained before qualifying and stopped with water on track less than 1mm and subsequently rained again during the race, but it isn’t a bug you have just not set up AS in a smart way.

What were your advanced strategy settings?
Did it briefly stop raining then re-start?

My advanced strategy was intermediates for 1mm

Did it briefly stop raining? Doubt it. There are a few drivers who only ran inters for 2 laps before pitting for dries so it did stop raining soon after start

Does not cover my scenario where i qualify on inter but start race on dry tyres

If you want to use Inters in AS always set for 0mm otherwise you risk starting on drys if it is still wet.  It might not be the reason but if your opponents set AS on 0mm and it is not raining but still wet it would explain the scenario you describe above.
