On another topic of rescaling, this is another one that needs to be looked at.

While I appreciate the effort that goes into trying to make lower levels stay relatively competitive, there should be no scenario (same car) where a partially trained T20 should be as fast in the race or out qualify a fully trained T30. I mean that’s 10 whole levels in difference!

Please look into it ?.

We're working on a racing rebalancing update which is being rolled out in stages over the weeks ahead, you should start noticing improvements soon, perhaps even tonight, for what you've requested. ?

Hey managers,

I would like to clarify several things in this regard. This change was part of a major balancing update that we have been doing for weeks (beta testers team can confirm this). Just yesterday at the last minute we isolated the problem that was affecting the point Archie was referring to (we decided yesterday that we would release this fix as a hotfix today instead of waiting to release it with the rest of the changes). Coincidentally Archie reported this but this change had been on our radar for weeks and it was decided yesterday that it would be released today.

Isn’t it possible an average Perez outqualifies Verstappen? Or even wins a race… I mean if we don’t have such a chance with that high binding of one driver’s parameters to the results he gets the game becomes predicable. I suppose its game model should be changed completely. I even think considering one driver to be more talented than another from birth is stupid (this parameter should be random and not seen to the manager because he doesn’t have 6th sense), I don’t want to offend the developers but I would call it discrimination. And the wrongest thing is if a more talented driver has higher maximum speed on straights lol

This isn’t real life it is a game and as such parameters have to be programmed into the game and as a manager you have to work within those parameters.

What you are are describing feels, like a lottery and from a management perspective would make the whole game redundant.  Also, hiding Talent would be a mistake in my opinion as there would be no way of working this out,  but I would hide a drivers Special Ability and leave this to a manager to work out (i.e the attribute would just show as Legendary, rare, common or none) since it would be possible by reviewing results over time to determine whether they excel in one of the attributes.  The downside of hiding this would be the amount  of races needed to work this out unlike in rl where this is easy to do owing the amount of data available to the team principal.

Then we should close this and the other topics and say it’s a game get used to it it’s not real life and it’s not necessary to have logic in it

In real world, Verstappen can have a driveshaft failure, engine failure and even run out of fuel in qualifying.

This is a game, where the results are as a result of calculations done by a simulator based on some numbers, so realistically a driver with higher numbers should be better than someone else with lower numbers.
I don’t think hiding the talent is a viable option, since there is a formula for number of tokens a Talent X driver costs (which is X * 2 + 10), and if we remove that it will be a lottery. Also on the off topic ages of 16+ years (age of youth academy drivers in game) are sufficient to determine if a driver is talented. Willi Weber knew that with Schumacher, Ron Dennis with Hamilton and Helmut Marko with Vettel and Verstappen.

Following on from the original post, I'm having a hard time squaring what has been happening in my league this week; a top manager has got a new T29 driver, trained to Lvl 20.  This driver has been in 3 races and has won them all.

I believe I have the best developed car in the league and I have T30 and T23 drivers, both trained to Lvl 23, each with about 30 races of experience.  So how is this total n00b driver just jumping in and winning? Cheers.

I truly don’t want to offend you but it seems you are a noob in that league. It’s not only about drivers or any other things. I wish I had more competition :(. I’m currently at level 19 but nobody of level 21-22 can beat me at any track  do you know how I feel?

@Pete,

It would be tough to say because there are many variables involved in a race, from race management to downright luck sometimes. Keep racing and see if anything changes in the coming weeks.

@Sopo,

Going a littel off topic here but if you are unhappy in your league and want to challenge yourself, here is a list (not comprehensive) of leagues you'll find tough. Check them out and grow ?

Formula Zero ??
Mol Alliance ??
Grand Prix ??
Stay Active League ??
La MaFIA ??
BR Master League 1 Car ??
Full Throttle X ??
Need 4 Speed ??
Racestate 49 ??
Racing Deluxe ??
Global Cup Series ??
Russian Championship ??

I have omitted some I don't think you're ready for, but these above should do just fine for now.

As I told you before (when you had been as Bi Han :D)  I'd be happy to cross our swords together ⚔️ ???. I don't want to offend any league but most of them there are noobs. I mean either they play offline like +3 laps by the finish or 2-3 players attend online and the others offline. I bet there are no competitors for me but I'll see them, thanks. I also would like to invite you to the league I race in at the moment if it's convinient for you, 4 days and we'll start a new season. May be we could gather the most competitive mangers and merge this power into the best one has ever been made? Some of those leagues either have 50-75% distance or play like 4-6 days a week. I need 2x speed, 100% distance, every day racing, i dont take any other option
