A new league which kicked off Season 1 in Valencia on Tuesday 25th April.

The league was created with an aim to to attract some of the strongest managers in the game which I'm happy to say we have achieved. If you're looking to test yourself in what we hope to be the pinnacle of 2 car racing you should start planning now to enter the league during the break between seasons 1 & 2 (19th - 22nd May)

Race format:


  • Race time: 20:00 GMT / 21:00 BST / 22:00 CET 

  • Number of cars: 2 

  • Race distance: 75% 

  • Race speed: 2.0x 

  • Race days: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu 

  • Refuelling: Off 

  • Tyre rule: On 

  • Fastest Lap Point: On 

  • Number of races per season: 16

  • Season length: 4 weeks


IMPORTANT 
A poll of Elite managers will take place in the final week of the season to decide Tyre, Refuelling and FL rules for the following season.

Local rules:

  • No mid season joiners: This is to prevent very slow cars interfering with the races and removes the possibility of overpowered cars (N+1 bug) the following season.

  • No substitutes: This is a competition between individuals, not between teams of players.

  • It is permitted for managers to reset their design during the break between seasons by leaving/re-joining the league.

  • Non attendance: To minimise backmarker interference, if you can't attend a race you can either set a competitive strategy and allow AI to manage the cars or alternatively qualify on the slowest tyres available and set 1 litre of fuel to force the cars to retire on lap 1.

  • Multi-teams: Allowed for Rookie and Pro tiers to help to trigger promotion but strictly forbidden in the Elite tier.

  • The championship  leader immediately after the third from last race will choose the calendar for the following season. If this is the same manger who selected the current season then calendar choice passes to the second placed manager.

  • Two consecutive races without setup or four races across the entire season you will be removed (but welcome to return the following season)

If you want to join Rookie or Pro please just do it. If you want to join the Elite tier please apply by PM, if we are oversubscribed applications will be processed on a first come - first served basis.

Season 2 will begin on 22nd May. The league is proving to be very popular so regretfully I have had to ask a couple of mid-season joiners to leave. I am now taking taking requests for S2 Elite tier.

At the moment there are two Elite places available, why not PM me for a link to the Discord server so that you can drop in and see what it's all about before committing?

Season 1 draws to a close this evening with a final race in Hungary. Unfortunately, for a number of reasons, a few teams have dropped by the wayside during the opening season. On the plus side, all eight remaining teams are active and attend every race.
We have two more teams definitely joining for season 2 and another two possibles.

This season's champion, Phil Macey,  has selected the calendar for season 2 which kicks off at Silverstone next Monday 22nd May. As I already said, all the teams in Elite attend every race but if you can't attend there is an expectation that you will at least set up, set a strategy and allow artificial idiot to destroy your race.

The league has a dedicated Discord server, if you want to drop in to see what we're all about please PM me for a link.

All are welcome but I warn you there are a few seriously good managers in this leage. If you're up for the challenge you have the next 4 days to take the plunge.

I hope to see you on the grid next week.

Season 2 is drawing to a close, the final race is tomorrow (15th June) with the new season kicking off next Monday (19th June).

Every race so far this season has been won by the same team, most often with a perfect 1-2 result complete with fastest lap. There is no reason to believe they won't continue this domination and win the the remaining two races.

We're looking for someone to put an end to Phil Macey's dominance. If you think you have what it takes there are 3 positions open in the Elite tier, so get yourself along during the inter-season break.

We look forward to seeing you on the grid.
