What did you try to do?
We did our weekly league race and were massively disappointed to find we couldn't switch to 3D all of a sudden. Several restarts didn't work either. It affected multiple managers and we have no idea why all of a sudden?

What happened instead?
We only saw top down, the dots...

Did the problem happen while using wi-fi, mobile data, or both?
Both

Did the bug happen in the app, on PC, or both?
PC

What operating system is your PC?
Windows 11

Which browser did you experience the problem in?
Chrome

Can the bug be reproduced?
Yes, I did reproduce it 3 times. The problem didn't resolve itself and I had to use the phone app, which on my Google Pixel was very wonky/laggy and my phone got hot.

Hey Nico,

Thanks for reaching out for your issue. Can you try to spectate the same track and see if it’s works please?

Neither view works on my pixel 7 with Android 13.
Livery editor doesn't work and neither does spectating a race.
It tries to load but snaps back to the app.

Hi José. I tried, the track was Russia, but since your post I haven't found a race to spectate there. Only 1 single race there and the it was a closed lobby (with quite an inappropriate name).

Hi Nico, This is unusual. We've never seen a case of this before. I can confirm that when I switch to your account it launches my standalone app in 2D, but when I login on my own account it is in 3D. Your preference is also set to 3D.

I'll dig a bit deeper and see if I can identify what's causing this for you.

Thank you Jack! I've not had this before either. It affected another manager as well (he is from the UK, I am from Austria) and we both never had this issue before.

One possibility just occurred to me. When I was on your account on the website, the application would have still been logged in on my account when I launched the viewer. The two logins are maintained separately (something we've got to address in future). As I don't normally use other accounts, this might explain why I haven't encountered it before, it could also be the cause of the issue, I was thinking.

Could you launch your standalone application directly, without going through the website, and check that it is logged in as the same user as the website? If they are logged in as different users it might be the cause.

Hi Jack, I did this and I am logged in with the same account as I am logged in on the website. We do a league with a group of 16 friends and 1 weekly race. We don't log out of our accounts and we only use those accounts (we also religiously watching the ads every day ;). Same thing with my friend from the UK btw.

PS: Just in case it helps -> I tried uninstalling/reinstalling and spectating another race now, not Russia (where the problem occured) because there seem to be no races going on there atm. 3D worked. I am not sure if the problem was track specific though, or if it was random. Or if my reinstalling helped with anything.
