im fairly new to the game (2 months) and im currently playing on a league with friends only.

i accidentally stumbled across this driver when i was level 6 (i only trained attack and defense which were at ~6 or so)
https://igpmanager.com/app/d=driver&id=12408996
now im level 8 and after 3 races my driver just feels blatanly op compared to all others, qualifying 3-5 tenths faster on the some compound as all others.

i watched the transfer market closely over the past month but no other drive came even close to the stats my driver has.

is this normal?
was there some change how levels work?

it just feels too good and slowly ruins the fun for the others in the league by having no chance agajnst that driver

It's the talent attribute. Talent is the most critical stat, as it very much affects your driver's pace and also can't be trained. This means with the 17 talent, she will be faster than most drivers for your level. As you level up and the competition gets better, the advantage of your driver will go down, but for now, enjoy your driver. It's not too good to be true, she's just a lucky find in the transfer market.

i know about the talent, the thing she just feels so off the charts compared to everything else.

what you nomally find for lvl 7 on the transfer market ans teams is:
talent 1-3 with ~10-14 driving ability (if the training is focused on that) and green bmi if trained correctly.
talent 5  has stats around 7-9
and talent 6-11 has stats around 5-8 with a bmi normally always at 30+ beeing in the reds.
training them doesnt really help since they immediately level up again and then the rrwining gets limited

so having a driver like her at lvl 7 with those stats makes no sense

Focus on training "Physical" first until Stamina is at 30, she will be even more OP.

Enjoy it whilst you can, when you get promoted and come up against higher level active players, that's when the driver and the way in which they're trained becomes important.

Someone must have promoted them from the YDA, and then put her on the transfer market. I'd assume it was the team she was on before you, Green Raven.

im in a league of 16 guys where we all know each other, we will stay together, so there wont be any changes to that. personally i enjoy having the best driver, i just fear that it will demotivate my friends to keep playing

If you are that bothered then sell the driver, but it wouldn’t be sensible.

Eventually some managers in your league will work out the game including the maths side and start to dominate everyone else so like Kevin says enjoy your advantage while you have it.  Also not sure if your league is 1 or 2 car, but even at level 7 you need to bin the talent 1 driver.
