Weird sponsorship issue

So I have been lucky to have a good season. Going into the last race of the season - winning all but 2 races, Constructors Championship locked, Drivers Championship locked. 

But no new sponsors are wlling to sign on.  Even wit 6-8 of 10 on relationship scale.  Just seems odd to me.

Which sponsors you want and what how loaded they are can affect how much they sign for. A sponsor with a rating of 10 in finances and having a 10/10 relationship with them will get you 1.5m per race.

Nope, that's not the case. I tried to resign a sponsor with a 10/10 relationship and a 76% success rate for $1.5m per race and they declined. In fact every single sponsor on the list declined my offers despite sitting 5th in the chapionship and a good reputation. I think the algorithm has been changed or something. It used to be much easier.

Interesting. Nothing's been changed about how sponsors interact with the managers/players.

Can you provide me with screenshots of your relationship rating with the sponsors who have a rating of 10 in Finances?
Also, can you provide me with screenshots of them declining your offers?

Your position in the the league etc has no part to play in signing.

There are only a few sponsors that will give you 1.5m a race : WTF1, Foracer, InsideSimRacing, Obutto, Image Space Inc., iRacing.com and I think H202.

You will need to have a Relationshop 10/10.

There is no reason why is shouldn't work?

Who specificly are you trying to sign with?
