I want to suggest a change in the game strategies, let's see if it seems good to you. Being able to modify the number of laps a driver takes in the race with the tires he is wearing while you are in the race,  just in case you have fuel for the whole race.

There is already this option, or am I missing the point? During the race there is an icon with a wrench and a hammer, where you can modify the strategy while in the race. If you are in a no-refueling league you for sure have enough fuel to extend the stint, but in leagues with refuel it's more complicated, since you always want to drive with the lowest fuel possible, so you decide the strategy before the race starts (but of course you can still modify the next stints by changing the amount of fuel).

Otherwise, in a no-refueling race, you can always cancel the pit call with the blinking button, but you will have to do it every lap you want to extend the stint, since it will always call you're driver to box, every extra lap of the current stint

I mean, we should be able to tell the driver to stop longer, do more laps with the tire they're running. So far you can only stop early, but you can't tell the driver to stop longer.

you can cancel the scheduled pit and amend the next stint based on how long you decide to stay out for.
