Idk why we are using tyres according to our strategy, when u select medium for start you are going to quali with Medium tbh that doesnt makes sense, quali should ve with softs any way or at least everyone should be with same tyre.

Not really that would just make qualifying a bigger lottery this it is now.  The whole point of using the same tyre as you race with is to force to you think more about your strategy in the race e.g. does this track suit starting SS and start further up the field with more stops or am I better going for a slower, but longer lasting tyre with less stops and being able to work my way through the field. It creates more variations of strategy.

No, this would cause mayhem. Imagine you want to start on supersofts and you qualify behind a few guys on softs and meds (which is not on unlikely scenario if you all quali on the same tyre). That’s race over right there

this is a game though. In a game, it’s easier to quit if a race doesn’t go your way. And easier to lose a lot of managers because of them quitting the game. so that’s why this proposal wouldn’t work in a game

It’s not because that’s how it works irl that it’s good for a game

In addition, unlike in real F1, we have on the grid 32 drivers with almost the exact same skill level that race for 32 (or 16) teams with similar performance. Making a qualifying system based on SS tyre that then allows you to start with every compound you like, would make the qualifying session a real lottery that can ruin you're race from the start. It would be almost entirely based on luck, making car development and race strategy pretty much useless

How ? If even have same tyre standings will according to the car power and drivers like real life, then every race another driver should get pole irl.
Antonio Ascari, yeah every player wants winning as you said but in most of leagues half of players are inactive so you can easily get in top 5-6 if your car is nice. At least we need an option for this, they should able us to able/disable this.

Building this in as a league option would take up a lot of dev time, I think it shouldn’t be a priority. That said, I’m not the one to decide on this, is up to the studio / devs

It’s been rejected so pointless debating it with him
