new weather or weather bug?

today i watched the worst crazy weather offline race since I  had played IGPmanager.

rain is over 3mm before the race so I made strategy I M M M with Wet over 3mm and I after 0 laps.
qualify with W. (correct)
Wet  tyre on grid. (correct)

During race, rain decreased from 3,4mm to 2,2mm before rain stop....so my race was ruined, in fact after first pit stop my drivers put M and put I only when rain stopped.

Now, I have never seen water level decrease so much during a race... if this is only a bug,  it's a pity but I can understand;
if this will be still possible in future, I think this is a moment to change advanced strategy.

A good solution could be "chose" water level for Dry, water lever for I and water level for W.


please don't answer me with "this game is for live and not for offline".

Apologies I missed this post.

So with the water level dropping, did the rain change from "rain" to "light rain" ?

This would explain the water level dropping from 3.4mm to 2.2mm without the rain stopping.

On the Home Screen Light rain has a single rain drop while rain has multiple.

But in the race viewer the display is different.

Light Rain = Cloud with black interior, Multiple rain drops
Rain = Cloud with white interior fill. Multiple rain drops

In this way, i think it is better re-think advanced strategy in a different way. Isn't it?

I think that a good way is 
1) chose interval for each tyre  (example 0-1mm Dry, 1-3mm I, 3-5W, 
2) chose  the moment of changing between :a) at programmed pit stop
B) in the right moment of level change
