A cool way to simulate the wind tunnel and CFD times would be to give research % boosts based on standings in a league. I feel this would be a quick easy implementation. Hardest part is probably figuring out how and what boost to give new members of a league. It could also be a toggleable league setting so those who dislike 100% of anything new ever added to a game could be appeased
