Today, we got a race with rain just before the quali and stopped directly after.
With the advanced settings, all cars made the quali in inters and some (those who were connected) changed for dry tyres just before the start because the water was at 0.1mm.
And I realise something and that's why i'm suggesting this : You can put only the dry tire you choose before. for ex, I planned to go in SS to begin the race in front, the quali was in inters and i can only go back to SS. So I think, when the quali has been made on inters, it should be possible to go for any of the 4 compound.
Just imagine this scenario: In dry condition, i'm the only one to go for SS because i really want to base my strat on track position. But because it rains, the quali is made in inters and i'm 15 at the start of the race. In those condition, i've no longer interrest of going on SS if it's dry. So I put the medium or hards to go long.
So to sum up my suggestion : When the quali are made in inters. You should be able to switch to any compound at the start of the race
