I don't know how much of a resource this would require to change or even if this would be wanted by the community. However, I think not being able to see the competitor's battery % or when they are using boost would definitely make the racing more exciting/frustrating (more emotional) and add a level of mystery until the last lap.

DRS trains would be harder to maintain and this could potentially lead to players overboosting which is a skill in itself in my opinion to not use too much boost when necessary.

If the visual boost animation/graphic can not be removed completely then maybe atleast a delay on activation?

I know IGP is an arcade game but as mentioned I think this simple change would give races much more suspense.

I did a quick search to see if this suggestion was mentioned previously and couldn't see anything similar, I apologize if this is a duplicate.

Thank you.

Technically, nothing will change(i mean race).

When a race is largely determined by how often you obtain DRS it matters, maybe not for your 2 car league but definitely in competitive 1 car leagues.

You can see this already.  You just have to click on the teams mame on the standings section and you are able to see how much boost is left.

He's asking for the information to be hidden.

To be hidden The boost Will be more fun. I need to see only my boost. Racing Will be harder because you can't see how much left have The competition. I am agree with this rule to be implement

For me, it would be even more realistic if the BOOST wasn't there... perhaps with the possibility of choosing whether or not to use the BOOST as a Championship rule?

I personally think it should be visible as a core part of a management game is looking at the situation around you and managing accordingly.
You can't do that without a suitable amount of information and removing boost data will just lead to confusion, annoyance and (especially if hiding usage) rage.

Still, I imagine it would be a fun gimmick if it were ever implemented and some leagues would inevitably end up using it.

I think anyone who rages because of another player's action/behavior on their own car is silly. Removing boost data will not lead to confusion it will lead to anticipating the end of the race and players using boost much more strategically.

The game hides competitors' push levels, fuel amounts, planned strategies and the feature that creates an immediate impact on the race from the player (BOOST) is shown.

I don't see players raging or annoyed because they are unable to see what push levels their competitors are using.

*This will only affect new players

Currently, the poll sits at a 60/40 split in favor of boost usage and battery % data not being provided to competitors. A majority but not massive, indicative that this may be good as a feature that a league host can turn on or off depending on what the league player base wants via another 'poll'.
