I know it matters with the race, but wasn't sure about testing. I have a driver who is a lot better skill wise, but seems to be slower by a few tenths. Not sure if I need to work on his racecraft more, or if it's just health that's effecting him. It's always around or under 10.

Good question. I don't know, but I would imagine it does.

Why don't you let him practice once with a bit more health, and see if the gap gets smaller ?

I mean, you can just train him a day later, we are getting 60 % of health/ day if I remember that correct, so you shouldn't lose anything as you are not in danger to get to 100 %.

Yes, it does appear that the test times are influenced by health. Having driver A at 60, and the (better) driver B at 1, resulted in about .2 to about .4 of a difference slower for the other driver, but when both drivers were around 60%, driver B posted a time that was .1 better, so I would say it's about .5 of a second slower having no health over someone who has more.
