Design for next Season?

I would like to ask (more less) the design for next season how it comes and if our current design counts for the next season? Because if it counts we will have a loop, meaning the ones with high design at current season will start higher than others on next and the next etc.

Our league after 11 races of previous season started:
my team (12) = 178 2nd team (15) = 179 3rd team (20) = 119 4th team (16) = 119 5th team (9) = 106 6th team (8) = 100 (after 8 races) 7th team (14) = 92 (after 7 races) 8th team (12) around = 370 ( coming from pro) total design points.
Those are some i know, so if we know a bit more how design build up maybe we can make some proposal's or help you with yours;) Right now we can't know what is "illegal" ,"Normal" or "under-normal ".

Does anybody have a clue about how are the teams being reseted at the end of the season or not?
i mean, can anybody answer how many design points are you going to have at the start of next season? or how are they calculated?
this is still a black box, do we have to cross fingers after Abu Dhabi? :P

I think so dan and for me I think that spells doom for me every season lol

@Sam : Don't forget to add a team coming from pro had 413 pts after 4/5 races, that was a lvl12 team which is now lvl13.

Full season build up on the other League= Level 11 to 12 during the season also for design facility and chief designer = 363 total points.

EDIT: 2nd team with with full season build up = Level 14 to 15 during the season = 519 total design points

Those 2 teams were in front last season, Guess who is leading the League;)

Just start a new season. Last season was full season. I get 266 design points. Als other team in my league have 386 design points at the start of the season. That's a lot of difference

@Marcel : Don't forget to ask everyone in your league with how much points they start.

Shouldn't I get design points for the new season? My car is absolutely the same as it was for the last race and I have 0 design points to spend:( Is there something I don't know or missing? Thank you!

i see my another team design setup raised very high as i got promoted to Pro ...
may something equal to other drivers..

I've just noticed that my design after the first race raised as well :)

oops i changed the league and all gone car design reset and got only 14 design points for switching may as per my level xp
this is going to be tuf, league already had 4-5 races and guys must be up on design wise
before joining i do got the chance to review joining but was not knowing all my used designed points in previous league will simply vanish...
moreover after joining i realized its half race and i wanna return back to old league but afraid again i need to bear the loses

Maybe it comes from designer. He is done 11 races previous season.

I can't be sure how but the top 5 or top 3 teams of previous season (rookie,Pro,Elite) getting more design points next season also. Getting bonus from wins or positions? getting bonus as they have higher design ? I don't know but its seems we have the loop i was afraid of. Maybe Marcel can post his Leagues that starting now to check;)

when i started to play igp again and got my self into a league i had like 350 design points then the season finished changed league continued with the same design then the next season in the new league my design points were between 200 and 220

Just joined a league other day for start of first race haven't played the game for ages was intrigued to see whats its like so lobbed this team in for a look, my car design was reset to 1's across the board as expected, with 7 design points to spend for first race + 10 after each race, im dreadfully slow, 4-6 seconds per lap slower in practice, quali and races, tried a couple different suppliers, i can only assume everyone else's car's are miles better, but i cant spy to see or catch up, is this normal?
