Just a quick question as I'm a little confused.
Maybe I'm missing something?
I set up for a dry race, set up as weather unpredictable for inters if rain was over 0.00.
Never mind qualification was OK ? my inters were on as per advanced settings.
Now here's where I'm not getting it, all through the race I was having to remember to switch from my original dry tyres to inters, shouldn't the advance settings pick it up ? It was raining all race, in a four stop race I had to manually do  8 stops with 2 cars and on the last stop with one of my cars I forgot to switch and it put on hards slipping me back to 8th place from first as I had to pit again.
So basically should the advanced settings not do this automatically for me if set up to run inters over 0.00, it rained all race.

AS is automatically switched off as soon as you access the race viewer. It's assumed you are online and capable of making decisions yourself.

So the advanced settings is pointless unless I'm off line ?
Why would it assume I can do it myself when I've set up for inters if it's raining ?
Surley if I've used the advanced setting it should work so to speak?
I mean it saves my fuel so I use the correct amount, why not tyres ?

Yea pretty much pointless unless offline. It's just a last resort tool for when a player absolutely can't make a race.

Your fuel isn't part of your AS unlike tyres for wet races. Whether you toggle the AS on/off, whatever fuel you save is used.

I don't think it's unreasonable the way it's currently set up, some would say it's part of management as getting it wrong or right greatly affects the outcome of a race.

AS also allows you to change tyres on the grid if you need to (assuming it is set up correctly)
