Please can you send a screenshot of the filter you are using to search for leagues. This will help us to see why your filter returns no results.
For information, leagues with 0-1 free spaces in the tier your account is in do not appear on the filter, so it could be that there is leagues available, but they do not have many empty spaces.
PS: For 1 car searches, any leagues with 31+ managers in your search tier won't appear on the filter.
For 2 car leagues, I think leagues with 15+ in your search filter won't appear on the filter, but I'll need to confirm this.
The league search filter is inadequate and something many players have been lobbying staff to chance for some time. I'd recommend trying with a variety of filters similar to what you tried and/or allowing leagues with different languages to get suitable recommendations.

It's not "confusing", it's simply broken since I can remember (2016). Never worked. Never been fixed.
For example, there's not a single English speaking 2 cars league in the whole game at 9:30pm UK time, it says. Which is clearly not true.
Different search filters, same null results or just 3-4 dead leagues at every single different race time I search.
Seems like the only active leagues at evenings European time are DWC, Velocity and a couple South American leagues. In the whole game.
