when the season ended my average design was about 70 to all components , when i started a new season they dropped to between 20 and 30 why ?

Design for next season build through current season so if you race 17 races will be highest.
Chief Designer counts for it and Design factory at headquarters not sure tho 100% how.
For current season race by race you develop your design as you like by the points you get every race dunno if your selections are involved for next season design;)
