Gil de Ferran who was the 2003 Indianapolis 500 winner and two time Champ Car champion with Team Penske died yesterday at the age of 56. He was racing with his son in Florida when he suffered a heart attack. He also worked for McLaren on their F1 and IndyCar teams.
