Why does the game make me skip the first race of the championship? The first race is tomorrow, 1 day after my last race I finished.

Hi Roboto

Your new league races at 13:30, your old league raced at 15:00.

you may not compete in two races within a 24 hour period. This is why you could not compete in the race. It being a different day is not relevant.
