Whats the point of the sponsor objectives anymore?

I really don't get why my sponsor objective would be this crazy. I start deep in the field like 20th and 22nd in a 26 car field and get up to 10th with one driver with the other one finishing a lap down in like 16th. This was only my second finish in the points, both 10th place finishes, 5 races into the season and the objective I apparently had was to finish 8th or better when clearly my car has not been a top 8 car all season unless I am severely mismanaging my car or something.

What's the point of sponsor objectives if it comes so easy?

I think the car compatibility stars and last race performance has something to do with the objectives.

i guess more, that the previous result has the heaviest weight at the objektive. After i finished one race very far behind, the objective of the next race was just to finish the race. After finishing this race at 1st position my next objective was to finish 1st. this i again failed and finished somehwere in the midfield and next objective was to get 4th.

The compatibility stars are in relation to your level. My compatibility stars are this season just at about 1 1/2 stars, because i switched leagues.

As Martin said the last race result is very important to determine your next race objective, I hope we'll be able to see our objective before the race in the future even if that won't change our final result.

the thing is that, we are struggling on finances! all of us i bet, i'm really bad at it, but i'm losing millions and millions. so, we need, or better prizes, or easy objectives, or something...

but if the last race is so important than how is it that my objective was 8th when my last race was an 11th and 12th and my best finish in 4 races was a 10th

and I'm not saying I would like them to be super easy it would just be nice if they were realistic for how my team was performing in a season

for finances: Select passive. Try to get a high basic income and not a high bonus.

i have my first sponsor with 3 token and 450K income and secondary sponsor with 988K income and 46K bonus

you also can trade the tokens into money again. How much money a token is worth depends also at your level, so hold the tokens, until you need the money

right but I would rather not do that even though I have almost 400 tokens but someone else in the league im in is suffering really bad and doesnt have the tokens to get himself out of it

well, you get 3 tokens per race, this is at my level 6 about 1.5 million $. So i guess he has to much staff. Maybe he has multiple driver or staff and should fire some. Also the wages of drivers imported from the old version of the game are to high. so he should try to replace them with ones that have a lower wage.

It's a manager game, managing your teams finances is a part of it.

I only signed these today to try them out

there is no point to replace them. But tech and doc aren't cost so much, just hire the cheapest you can find :). At the moment you have no benefit from them.

lol well I can counter the driver salary comment my drivers I brought over from the previous game and because I sit at level 12 they are both way cheaper then what I could go out and sign on the market so it just depends on the level at which you get your drivers but the staff salaries I will agree do not match up at all

you can't manage a team operating at a loss every time and thats simply a fact, thats how some teams end up shutting up shop, even in the real world if there are no investors or buyouts.

this season alone without prize money even finishing 3rd in 2 races, the lack of any prize money is killing my team, already 12.2 million down and i now have no choice but to put Alejandra Ruiz on the market to make up that loss and by the end of the season i'm likely to see up to another 20m in loss just to keep up in the league.

if this keeps up for a few more seasons, i will likely have to resort to lower skilled employees just to cut it right down, not putting any money into repairs unless i need to.

you should take more extremly sponsors. Dont bet at the Bonus payment, just try to get high basic payment. So take the sponsor with 3 tokens and the highest bonuspayout and the secondary sponsors with the highest Income.

After you finished you should be at least by -500K and but you can trade 2 of your tokens into 2.0M or sth like that (as your numbers are double as high as mine). So you make a plus of 2 tokens per race. even if you dont fulfull any objectives.
