thank you for your answer: this is a good news!
Amazed they are only just learning of this long standing issue. Now we can start the guessing game of what they will make worse while fixing this ? I wish we could have the original game back with the correct amount of race laps and before damp tracks required 8 pit stops, before the pit exit glitch existed and all the other bugs like this they created and myriad ways the game has changed negatively during recent years ?
Don’t forget, those were also the fixed calendar, stock engine, dots only racing days. Not all change is bad
Umm... what?
José: you misunderstand, I was not being positive about any of the changes as the changes have all made the game worse than it was previously, there has not been any that have improved the game, the last update is the best there has been for at least 2 or 3 years just because it introduced the least amount of new bugs, faults and extra issues and the few that it did got corrected quickly yet as is proven here by discussing an issue that has existed since the introduction of engine manufacturing, there is more focus on changing things for the worse than improving thing that need it such as fixing the tyre wear or number of laps that were both unnecessarily changed for the worse and have never been addressed or the fact we are racing around a circuit that no longer exists while a number of tacks that are on the F1 calendar are not in the game, I don't know who advises on or decides these things but they don't seem to be a regular league racer or ever bother to speak to those who are, the last couple of years it seems all decisions have been centred around trying to extract more purchases while making the actual playing experience better has been completely disregarded. There's as much if not more conversation during races about something that's broken than about the actual racing. I would love for there to have been anything to be positive about but when we don't do the correct amount of laps on all the correct tracks or get a sensible number of laps out of tyres that are a decade out of date what is there to have been positive about? Being level 30 instead of level 20? What has that improved about the racing?
