It would be nice to have multiple sponsors that change names and earnings depending on results, and also to be able to see, before signing, the sponsorship goals.
Similar to the F1 games (F1 or F1 Manager) for consoles/PC.
And also an increase in money earned by sponsors, because since they added the pit crew the sponsors pay too little.

I think this is a nice idea, at the moment it's just iracing and wtf1 sponsors brainless picks every 10 races.

Here are some ideas to make sponsors more dynamic:

Home race x1.5-2x money. If you end in the podium/points you get 1.5x money, if you win it, you get x2..

+10% cash when finishing top 10. ( This might encourage more active players(?).

Yes, this would be a really nice idea, maybe x1.25 when you get points, x1.5 when you get podium, x1,75/x2 when you win and +10% when you complete the sponsorship goals

I would already say that we do get performance related sponsorship.  In the way that to get it all, you have to meet a set target that changes depending on previous performance.  That is good enough at the moment.

For bringing in other sponsors, how about this (for token sponsors, at least)...
Once an engine manufacturer hits level 30 and has optimised their engines, re max's amd mins, I believe that they will still get engine points.  Those points could be turned into cash and token amounts per race for other teams.  Let us say 1 engine point = 1 token + $500,000 for example.  We can put engine suppliers at level 30 in as bona fide sponsors where if a target is not made, maybe the tokens or cash go into the sponsoring team's coffers.
This idea would be optional to the engine manufacturers and only be allowable for up to 5 sponsorships per engine manufacturer.
I mean.  The options may even allow for these sponsors to go with default sponsorship targets or set their own, within 2 places either side of the default.

It would be good, but only for Who has engine at level 30

Just thought some more about this idea.  It can be setup so that if an engine supplier were to go into an engine point deficit due to using all of their surplus engine points, then points will start to be taken off the engine tuning stats, randomly to make up for any shortfalls.  Thus making this not as good as you would think for level 30 teams.

Also, I would suggest that said engine supplier sponsors can sponsor up to 3 tokens and $1.5M worth to 1 car teams and up to 6 tokens and $3M for 2 car teams per race.  This would eat engine points much faster and lead to the question of recinding said sponsorship commitments.

Finally, I thought that it would have remained unstated that you cannot sponsor your own team.  You can only sponsor other teams in the game.

I don't know how engine points work, but it feels good

Sounds too complex to me.

I'd summarize it to: once you reach level 30 and you max out the engine, you have no use for engine points. Therefore there should be an option to exchange them for cash. 100k per point or something like that would be a fair exchange rate. 1 token and 500k per point is too much, even if I'd love it.

On the other side, giving benefits/cash for surplus of engine points would only make it harder for new players to catch up, and would probably be a demotivating factor.

So... after thinking about it, I am against it.

You are missing my point.

In my plan, you are giving up to 5 teams that are NOT your engine supplier team a leg up by giving out a sponsorship to each that can be larger than a standard sponsorship (you could give a two car team 6 tokens and $3M in every race).
