Guy's is there still an issue of mental training slowing the drivers down the same as it was in old version?

Might be lack of fitness but I was expecting verstappen to be at lest a second faster than walsh.

As far as I know this was more of a myth, but if it was true then it was probably something having an inverted impact in the old iGP (easily done, so it's possible).

The impacts of most things were changed in the simulation in the new iGP to try and make every single attribute have an impact on performance. I doubt if there was an issue that it would still be present. Pace is mostly based on the driving ability attributes.

Just lack of fitness then slowing him, will no better once get his stamina up

Old wives tail work sometimes.
In the old version training all knocked the gears setting up to 90-95
doing just attack and defense physical and speed put the gears up to 75-80
My own mad setting and the way i was training walsh everything but defense also had gears 75-80, my strange way of thinking if you don't spend time looking in the mirrors defending you will be faster always looking ahead lol

Before balancing took place.

two drivers with only attack, defense, physical and speed

two drivers with everything but defense.

I only picked these guys up 21st July they where not even fully trained the way I wanted them before the change over

I did a lot of research about that myth, I also did some tests to confirm what I thought and I came to the conclusion mental/tech training was not bad for the driver pace but was indirectly bad because it increased gearing to a too much high level : 75 was the virtual cap and everything over it slowed you more than it made you faster. In fact it was possible to do a very little training in mental/tech to achieve a slightly better composure stat (qualifying) or technical (rain) but with the risk to go over and reach 80 in gearing making you slower ..

I had not enough time to test it but maybe full speed with 80% def training / 20% mental or something like that was the best training for a driver as long as you did not go over that 75 in gearing.

Lap times are very close on same tyre he just doesn't have the stamina to keep up with the pace.

My old boys are going to take forever to get them up to 20 stamina. Who has a driver with everything high & wants to buy a wee Irishman to test it out more?

New driver same result.

It might be why I'm doing so well, every other driver in the league has pretty good Focus. At first I thought it's my car design is just higher but I feel drivers are too Focused on the racing line, now that I have one with and one without the driver with Focus seems to be slower.
