Driver salary

If I remember rightly in Old IGP, when we extended the driver's contract the salary would have decreased, but In New game Salary Increases when we extend the contract, this thing eating up more money, already its difficult to make profit now, And Is it realistic to pay more to a driver for renewing the contract or there should be a better renewal offer that is more profitable for the team?

I seem to recall that in the old game extending the drivers contract increased his /her salary. Increase was minimised by offering a longer extension, but still an increase.

sorry than maybe i misunderstood with supplies fee, that was decreased when we extended the contract in Old IGP i think
