+1 on including new tracks. Saudi Arabia is a must-have, and Miami would be fantastic too. Let's get the calendar feeling fresh!

Not correct, we have not had the same calendar since 2016.

The Mobile friendly game was was launched in August 2016 and had the same 17 circuits carried over from the previous game. It stayed this way with 17 circuits, always raced in the same order, until 2019 when new circuits were introduced.
I believe the 2019 Great Britain layout was the first to be introduced around April 2019.

France was added on 30/08/2019, followed by Canada on 05/09/2019, then Austria 19/09/2019, Russia 26/09/2019, Azerbaijan 11/10/2019, Mexico 26/10/2019, USA 31/10/2019 making a total of 7 new circuits in a two month period.

Up until the 3D update we had 25 different circuits, Great Britain had two circuits the 09 and 19 layouts. We lost the 09 version when 3D was introduced in 2021 leaving us with the current list of 24 circuits.

In addition to the new circuits, in 2019 the Devs also gave us custom calendars so we could race the circuits in any order and also removed the 17 race limitation.

And we also lost another circuit, which in my opinion, was much better than the current one; i never understood why circuits are deleted, when it's best to have more variants to play with...

but that’s still 5 years, i get you are in the process of new tracks as we speak but igp requires a big update with new tracks and new features to get back on track.

Thank you, yes I forgot about that one. I believe the game up until 2019 was based around the real life 2009 F1 season, 17 races in a fixed order. The GB circuit was a 2009 Silverstone layout and the German race was held at Nurburgring.

IIRC when 3D was introduced in 2021 the iGP German race was switched to a representation of Hockenheimring and at the same time we lost Nurburgring and the GB09 layout.

I never understand why everyone gets so hung up with new tracks.  Most of the new tracks in F1 are borefests and don’t see see how adding more here will get the game back on track.  There are things needing fixing which are much more important in that respect.  Adding new tracks is also one of the most time intensive items for the devs to focus on.

True.

I always seem to ask for things like the old Hockenheim with the fast forest section, or even the full Nurburgring Nordschleiffer to be put on here, just for thethrill and hel of it all.  (Pardon my bad spelling, by the by)

Hi game developers, when are any new circuits likely to arrive, we are lagging well behind real life now, we need Vegas, Miami, Jeddah etc, and news on when/ if they are coming any time soon

Thanks

New circuits cost a lot of time and money to make, and right now, I believe iGP is prioritizing other things. However, looking more long term, iGP has disclosed that 4 new tracks are in development for the future. Here's where Jose announced it: https://igpmanager.com/forum-thread/56326

I don't have any more updates since that announcement, but hopefully the new tracks are coming along nicely.

Hello,

I have merged two threads which are both suggesting the same thing (new circuits).

In future, please can you check previous posts on the forum and only create a new thread if there isn't a similar one already open. Doing this will save the forum moderators a lot of time and will allow us to prioritise our time on threads which require more urgent attention.

Thank you.
