Where's all the boffins!

Is the training meant to be as fast as it is or is it bugged?

Seems like way too much gain, even for early stages.

Hello,
The rate of training is dependant on the gap between the driver/pitcrew (D/PC) level and your manager level.
As the D/PC level increases, the rate of training will decrease.
If you train the D/PC to a level which is higher than your manager level (which will be indicated by red stars), training will hugely slow down, to just 3% per 1x training.

The star level of your Team Doctor also has an impact on the rate of training. Section 10B of the 2022 iGP Manager Guide contains further information on Doctors and their affect on training.

Another factor in the rate of training is your Simulator Headquarter - the impact that your HQ level has on training is indicated within the Simulator HQ page.

I hope this helps. If you still think your rate of training is too high, please record a video so we can take a look and confirm whether there is an irregularity.

Thank you.

OK Cheers, it's an acceptable amount.

Nobody see's an issue with training up and levelling up so fast because it's hurting us low teams and not the established teams.

Star level matters to car design and research but it's up and down like a yoyo forcing to buy new staff that you shouldn't need, if you are unlucky to level up after the last race of the season you get a weaker car because of star drop. LOL
