Pilots Rarity

What is the impact of pilots « Rarity » on stats and Races ?

I don't know 100% but I'm guessing common would only give a slight increase, rare would be a bit more and legendary would be the biggest gain.
From my experience racecraft is the best one to have.

I personally believe the gap between Rare and Legendary is far bigger than that between Common & Rare.  

Legendary Racecraft can be a beast over the season if not many in your league have it.  

I know there were plans to narrow the gap between the other attributes but haven’t seen much evidence it’s been implemented.
